In 1946, Lou Paris founder Andre Faller met his future wife Lucienne — “Lou,” for short — while riding the luxurious Orient-Express. The couple married and founded a Grenoble-based corset-making company, which eventually evolved into a full-fledged lingerie brand. For the rest of the 20th century Lou Paris built its reputation by designing sensuous luxury lingerie and outfitting stars such as Brigitte Bardot in its perfectly fitting bras, panties, and other undergarments. Now based in Paris, Lou Paris continues to produce high-quality women’s lingerie notable for its impeccable lacework and comfortable fit.
